In the first week, the participant will be introduced to business administration with a focus on financial management in the context of statements, budgeting, and forecasting.
In this week, the participant will gain a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices of marketing management, including market research, product development, pricing, promotion, and distribution. Participants will also build upon their knowledge of financial management from Parts 1 and 2. They will learn about capital budget, risk analysis, financial derivates and its application.
In this week, participants will learn about marketing strategies, sales management, and customer relationship management, and will apply their knowledge through group discussions and presentations. The week also covers the fundamental principles of organisational behaviour, including individual behaviour and attitudes, motivation theories, leadership styles, and communication in organisations.
In this week, participants will learn about group dynamics and team building, conflict resolution and negotiation skills, and the impact of organisational culture on behaviour. In addition, the week covers the basics of operations management, including production processes, quality management and control, as well as supply chain management and logistics.
In this week, participants will learn about capacity planning, inventory management, and total quality management. The marketing portion of the course covers marketing management, the marketing mix, consumer behaviour, and market segmentation. Participants will also learn about marketing research, marketing communication tools, brand management, and customer relationship management.
The week covers topics such as operations management, supply chain management, financial management, financial ratios, investment decisions, and risk management. The course is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of these essential areas and their role in supporting business success.
In this week, Financial Management (Part 3), Strategic Management (Part 1), Strategic Management (Part 2)
In this week, participants will learn about the strategic management process in the context of environmental analysis, SWOT analysis and business portfolio analysis. The week will conclude with a review and assessment, including a quiz and group discussion on a real-life business scenario.
In this week, participants will also learn about motivation, power and politics, decision-making, and problem-solving in organisations. The week concludes with a discussion of international business, including the challenges and opportunities of doing business in different countries, the global business environment, and the role of multinational corporations in the world economy.
In this week, participants will learn about the strategic planning process, competitive advantage, and various business-level and corporate-level strategies. The week also covers organisational structures and their impact on strategy, as well as mergers and acquisitions. The final day of the week covers business planning and entrepreneurship, including the business planning process, the entrepreneurial process, and business models and market validation.
In this week, participants will learn about the challenges and opportunities of starting and running a business, different business structures, and financing options. The week also covers project management, including the project management life cycle, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management. On the final day, the week will explore service operations management, including service design and delivery, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
In this week, participants will learn about the recruitment and selection process, job analysis, and employee training and development programs. The week also covers performance management, compensation and benefits systems.
