LPC Training Joins PMI Global Summit Series Europe in Barcelona 2025

From April 6 to 8, 2025, Barcelona came alive as the second annual PMI Global Summit Series Europe brought together project professionals from every corner of the globe, united by a shared commitment to PMI’s global community, creating cross-border collaborations, and exchanging breakthrough insights. LPC RSVPed yes. Represented by the quality department manager, LPC was ready to translate these innovations into institutional excellence.

What Was on the Agenda?

The agenda was jam-packed, and it consisted of a unique fusion of keynotes, breakout workshops, and immersive labs, which unfolded across four strategic pillars.

Taking over the headlines was AI, as experts showcased how advanced algorithms can breathe life into risk assessments and how predictive models can guide resource planning with surgical precision. In conversations that followed, LPC engaged with several tech-forward partners, seeking ways to apply these advancements within its simulation-based learning environments.

Leadership tracks pushed boundaries further, inspiring attendees to rethink governance, not as a rigid framework but as a dynamic process rooted in empathy. This message resonated deeply with LPC’s quality department manager, who, during a panel exchange, was asked how LPC retains its learner base in an increasingly competitive market. The answer was clear and uncompromising:

“Customers are loyal to quality performance... not the organization!”

In the PMO arena, frameworks came to life that do more than tick boxes; they are models purpose-built to align every department behind a common goal and accelerate project flow without sacrificing oversight. And in the background, a larger question loomed—one posed on stage by Mick Ebeling, Founder & CEO of Not Impossible Labs, whose keynote struck a powerful chord:

“Name something that is possible today that wasn’t impossible first.”

It was a reminder that disruption often starts as doubt, and that true progress comes from daring to believe in the improbable.

Sustainability conversations rounded out the program, ranging from sector-specific case studies to community-centered initiatives. Projects on “urban gardening” and ESG integration sparked ideas on how LPC can further root sustainability into every layer of its learning model.

Cultivating Change: LPC’s Post-Summit Vision

Through conversations with PMI President and CEO Pierre Le Manh, Areej Naqshbandi (Senior Director and Head of PMO at the Public Investment Fund), and Ihab Nafie (Senior Executive of Development, Operations, Projects & Programs at PIF), and with inspirations leveraged from the summit, LPC stepped out with an even stronger conviction that artificial intelligence and fast-tracked technologies belong at the very heart of its academic experience—transforming data analytics from abstract theory into hands-on simulations that mirror real-world challenges.

LPC’s belief that true leadership starts from empathy and cultural insight was sharpened even further, inspiring new scenarios that enhance both strategic judgment and human connection.

Sustainability, already part of LPC’s DNA, now has an even deeper role: LPC will continue to strengthen environmental and social governance at every turn, driving learners to make meaningful change in their communities.

Looking into the near future, LPC's goal is to nurture a learning ecosystem that grows with every new trend. LPC remains poised to keep refining, innovating, and leading the charge into the future.
