How can cities evolve to become more connected, efficient, and responsive to the needs of growing populations? As urban environments face increasing pressure from population growth, resource constraints, and infrastructure demands, traditional planning approaches are no longer sufficient. Smart city concepts offer integrated solutions that combine technology, governance, and sustainable development to enhance urban living.

The Designing and Developing Smart Cities course by LPC Training equips participants with the knowledge required to plan and implement technology-enabled urban environments. Over five focused days, participants explore smart city frameworks, digital infrastructure, governance models, and data-driven decision-making approaches used in modern urban development.

This course focuses on practical strategies for integrating technology with infrastructure and community priorities. Participants will examine smart mobility systems, sustainable resource management, and digital planning tools that support efficient and resilient cities. By the end of the programme, participants will be able to design smart city initiatives, align stakeholders, and apply innovative solutions to real urban development challenges.
