This course is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the natural gas, LPG, and LNG trading markets, and the different trading instruments available, including physical and financial contracts, derivatives, and hedging strategies.
Through a combination of lectures, case studies, and hands-on exercises, participants will gain an in-depth knowledge of the various aspects of natural gas trading, including the differences between exchange and OTC trading, the intricacies of the chartering process, and the fundamentals of post-fixtures operations.
We will also explore the risk management techniques and tools used in natural gas, LPG, and LNG trading, including the use of derivatives such as futures, swaps, options, and spread options, as well as advanced trading strategies, such as trading natural gas spreads and arbitrage opportunities.
By the end of this course, participants will have a thorough understanding of the natural gas, LPG, and LNG trading markets, and the different trading instruments available to them, as well as the risk management and hedging strategies that can be employed to effectively manage price risk.
