Public Policy is concerned with identifying and addressing collective problems. When societies change, it brings new challenges that need to be resolved. Sticking to old policies and refusing to reform them might cause further challenges and negative consequences.
The 21st century presents unique challenges that affect national and international public policies. Inequality, poverty, climate change, environmental sustainability, health care, migration, refugees, technological advancements, education, employment, terrorism, and many other challenges will be covered in the “Public Policy Challenges of the 21st Century” course.
This training course is designed to provide participants with a strong foundation in public policy by analyzing contemporary challenges and evaluating the impact of public policies on addressing them. Participants will understand the policy-making process at various levels and the role of advocacy in public relations. They'll also improve their skills in policy analysis and evaluation and develop their policy advocacy strategy throughout the course.
