Computer-Aided Design (CAD) with SolidWorks®

Digital engineering design tools have become essential for modern construction, mechanical, and infrastructure projects. Without structured CAD skills and parametric modelling knowledge, engineering teams may face inefficiencies in design development, documentation, and project coordination.

The Computer-Aided Design (CAD) with SolidWorks® course by LPC Training equips participants with practical skills to develop accurate 3D models, engineering assemblies, and professional technical drawings. Over five structured days, participants explore parametric sketching, feature-based modelling, component assembly techniques, sheet metal design, and motion simulation tools within the SolidWorks environment.

This course emphasises hands-on design workflows used in real engineering and product development projects. Participants will examine modelling strategies, design automation techniques, and documentation practices that support efficient design collaboration. By the end of the programme, participants will be able to produce structured CAD models and engineering documentation that support design validation, fabrication, and project coordination.
