At GITEX GLOBAL 2024, Abu Dhabi's digital pioneers demonstrated innovative AI-based services, solidifying the Emirate's global leadership in the AI economy, and aiming to drive digital transformation domestically and internationally.

Besides, GITEX GLOBAL, the world's largest technology show, was held in Dubai from October 14-18, 2024. The 44th edition attracted 6,500 exhibitors, 1,800 entrepreneurs, 1,200 investors, and 180 nations.

Abu Dhabi's local IT community, including over 400 AI businesses, displayed their commitment to AI-driven socioeconomic growth for tourists, aligning with the UAE's Economic Vision 2030 and National Strategy for AI 2031.

Abu Dhabi's Inventive Products

Abu Dhabi government unveiled advanced goods, including GovGPT, an AI-driven knowledge agent, to assist government workers in accessing important information and regulations.

Additionally, TAMM 3.0 was introduced, an AI-powered platform, that offers customised experiences and over 800 smooth services, including conversational speech capabilities in Arabic and English, allowing users to communicate via voice commands in both languages.

Introducing the Driverless Racing Automobile, the Next-Generation Police 4x4, and AI-Assisted Chest X-Rays

Abu Dhabi Police has revealed the 'Magnum MK1', an autonomous 4x4 bulletproof patrol vehicle with a 1.5-tonne payload capacity and a top speed of 150km/h. The vehicle features advanced surveillance, 360-degree camera coverage, and a bespoke prisoner cell.

Meanwhile, the Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC) presented the EAV24, a next-generation autonomous race car designed for the Abu Dhabi Autonomous Racing League, made from sustainable bio-composite materials.

ATRC's VentureOne, led by Acting CEO Reda Nidhakou, is transforming applied research from the Technology Innovation Institute into innovative products and solutions. The company plans to bring AI technology to the market through ambitious three ventures, including AI71showcased at GITEX, post-quantum cybersecurity, and autonomous robotics.

TII is using its Falcon 180B large language model for generative AI and Capital Health Screening Centre will perform 2,000 AI-assisted chest X-rays for TB screening at GITEX GLOBAL, a 10-fold increase from traditional methods.

GITEX GLOBAL 2024, the world's largest tech event, connects the world's largest events like GITEX EUROPE Berlin, GITEX ASIA Singapore, GITEX AFRICA Morocco, and GITEX NIGERIA, fostering global collaboration and innovation by facilitating future-focused tech projects across key industries.
