Kier, Tilbury Douglas, and Morgan Sindall have all won multiple spots on the Southern Construction Framework (SCF Construct) for the South West, the South East, and London. The framework includes work worth over £4m and a job lot worth between £1m and £5m for the South West.

Contractors like Galliford Try, Willmott Dixon, ISG, and Graham also won spots. The framework will replace a previous iteration and cover all sectors, including education, health, leisure, and local authority work.

Public bodies in the area can utilize the framework. The SCF Construct framework will last four years, starting May 2023. Additionally, the framework has a fourth lot for the first time, covering more local contractors and work worth between £1m and £5m in the South West.

Contractors are pleased to have won spots and look forward to working on the SCF to deliver high-quality public-sector buildings across the region.

According to Tim Chell, the regional director for the Western region at Bam Construct, their appointment to the SCF Construct framework is an excellent sign of recognition of the trust their clients have placed in them to enhance their working, healing, or learning lives. Bam Construct has a deep-rooted track record and commitment in the South West. This appointment will allow them to build on their excellent partnership with the Southern Construction Framework team, for whom they have already created many notable buildings.

According to Pat Boyle, the managing director of Morgan Sindall Construction, they are proud of their track record of supporting placemaking, producing lower-carbon buildings, and delivering impactful social value via their Intelligent Solutions approach. Being a business with deep roots across London and the South, their ability to bring together digital and platform design capabilities with modern construction methods and carbon-reduction tools puts them in a position to contribute positively to everything SCF 5 aims to achieve. This appointment also allows them to build on an excellent partnership with the Southern Construction Framework team, for whom they have already created many unique buildings.
