Electrical power systems require precise protection schemes to prevent equipment damage, supply interruptions, and safety hazards. Inadequate protection design can result in cascading failures, extended outages, and serious operational risks. A well-coordinated protection system is therefore essential for safe and reliable electrical network performance.
The Protection of Electrical Power Systems course by LPC Training equips participants with the technical skills to design, analyse, and coordinate protection schemes across LV, MV, and HV networks. Over five focused days, participants learn fault analysis, relay coordination, transformer protection, and advanced network protection techniques.
This course focuses on real power network environments. Participants will explore grading principles, directional protection, and intertripping schemes. By the end of the course, participants will be able to develop reliable protection philosophies that improve supply continuity and system safety.
