Conflict in the Workplace and Change Management: HR’s Role

Conflict is inevitable, but combat is optional.” This quote captures one of the most important truths in any workplace: disagreements will happen, but how they are managed determines whether they lead to growth or disruption. In the same way, organisational change is unavoidable, but its success depends on how effectively leaders and HR professionals guide people through it.

How many times have you seen a change initiative fail, not because the strategy was wrong, but because employees resisted it? Or a small disagreement escalates into a major issue that damages morale and productivity? These challenges don’t come from conflict or change itself, but from the absence of the right strategies to handle them.

That’s why LPC Training offers the Conflict in the Workplace and Change Management: HR’s Role programme. Over five intensive days, participants will go beyond theory to explore practical tools and frameworks. From using the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Model to manage different conflict styles, to understanding the psychology of change and reducing resistance, this course is designed to help HR professionals turn workplace challenges into opportunities for stronger, more resilient organisations.
